Ludacris: A avid smoker to headline TFOB Friday!

Ludacris: A avid smoker to headline TFOB Friday!

Grammy Award-winning Christopher Bridges, a.k.a. Ludacris, cut his teeth in the music industry as an influential “Dirty South” rapper.

Ludacris is headlining next week at Toronto’s Festival of Beer, presented by the Beer Store. And while there has been little support from the alcohol world, the cannabis scene wants to full support Ludacris in the adventure. This festival includes live music, food, beer and last night adventure. In addition, many are a fan of smoking during these types of music festivals.

“Ludacris will bring the southern hospitality to Toronto’s Festival of Beer and fans are sure to love it,” said Les Murray, President of Toronto’s Festival of Beer

This will be the first time Ludacris headlines Toronto’s Festival of Beer. Last year’s concert was met with a roaring attendance when the legendary hip-hop duo appeared. Cannabis activists Method Man & Redman hit the OLG Bandshell Stage and wowed the crowd. And this year is expected to be just as electrifying!

About Ludacris

Ludacris is a rapper and actor from  Atlanta, Georgia, known for his boisterous lyrics and “Dirty South” sound. Ludacris has achieved mainstream success as an actor, appearing in “Crash”, “Hustle & Flow” and of course his role as Tej Parker in the “Fast and Furious” film franchise. Making his mainstream breakthrough in 2000 with his second album, Back for the First Time, Ludacris has truly become his own mongrel.  In fact, he is labeled not only as a rapper but as a restaurateur, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Nevertheless, Ludacris is an innovator of comedic flow, peppered with punchlines and an activist for cannabis!

“I like sativas myself. I’m definitely more of a sativa guy than an indica guy. That’s just me.”

About TFOB Festival

TFOB presented by The Beer Store is Canada’s premier celebration of the golden beverage. Tickets start at $30 for a General Admission Thursday ticket then go right up to $150 for a Club Ticket ticket. This 2018 edition of the TFOB festival is presented by the Beer Store. It includes hundreds of breweries, dozens of food choices and live entertainment each day. TFOB announced Ludacris as a Friday headliner and Lie music on Saturday with Dwayne Gretzky.

The Festival has states that all cannabis products are not welcome, even with a medical card. Nevertheless, this is common with the majority of music festivals and will not hold people back. Staying informed and smart will be beneficial to cannabis use at any festival. Discrete ways to smoke are possible or just do it beforehand. At the end of the day, Ludacris promotes cannabis as much as Canadians.

“The future of weed looks very bright right about now. I’m very happy at the way things are happening—I feel like it’s been a long time coming, and I know a lot of artists that have been trying to advocate it, and they help the fight. I’m just hoping that everybody is happy, because who would have seen this coming? Honestly speaking, nobody would have seen this coming.”

Palliative and Hospice Pet Care

Palliative and Hospice Pet Care

Palliative health care involves the active total care of patients whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment. Control of pain, of other symptoms, and of psychological social and spiritual problems, is paramount. The goal of palliative care is achievement of the best quality of life for patients as possible. In other words, our aim is to relieve the clinical signs of a disease rather than effect a cure. This approach is especially important in the management of many terminal conditions where no known cure currently exists.

Hospice care involves providing a caring environment that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of terminally ill pets and their families. Hospice care and palliative care are technically considered two distinct disciplines but in reality their principles and practice overlap considerably.

Then American Veterinary Medical Associations recognizes palliative and hospice care as a critical part of pet health care.  It provides guidelines for veterinarians to follow to help them provide for the physical and emotional needs of their patients. This has long been a staple of human medicine and increasingly becoming more accepted and used in veterinary medicine as well.

A majority of palliative care revolves around pain control medicine, proper nutrition and generally making the patient as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately cancer in dogs and cats is fairly common and these patients often benefit the most from a comprehensive veterinary palliative care program. We are absolutely dedicated to relieve pain and suffering regardless of the pets’ prognosis or the disease outcome!
